NightWhisper snapped her eyes and looked around. She was at fourtrees she blinked and looked up. Her eyes widening. there were more stars out then she had ever seen before. But what was more was that they were moving. the stars swirled around her and came down. Cats that didn't leave paw prints and were transparent walked down to her. Until they stood around her. She looked around. There were hundreds of them. Some of them she recignized. She blinked and her eyes widened when she saw TearStar walking towards her. Her silver head held high. NightWhisper wanted to move but she felt like her paws were rooted to the spot.
TearStar stopped in front of her. And meowed in a echoie voice. "With this life. I give you Justice. May you make the right decisions and judge cats fairly" TearStar touched her nose to NightWhisper's. NightWhisper's tail bristled and her eyes widened as she felt a seering hot pain shoot through her body into her limbs. She wanted yowl but the sound was stuck in her throat. TearStar back up and smiled at her sadly before returning to the ranks of the other cats. NightWhisper looked around panting. She saw a silvery sleek cat step from the ranks. NightWhisper's ears pricked up and she wanted to race forward and burry her nise in her mothers fur. WinterFall walked forward with all the grace she had in life.
"With this life. I give you courage. So that you will be able to face you're worst nightmares" A bolt of energy shot through NightWhisper as WinterFall touched her nose to hers. That made her feel like she could bound to Silverpelt and back and still be able to run a long ways. She watched as her beloved mother walked back to the rank of cats. She looked around wondering which cat would be next. Next SpiritWind stepped out of the ranks. He walked forward and meowed gently.
"With this life i give you loyalty. That youw ill serve you're clan well" NightWhisper felt a white hot fierceness. Like a fierce protection a mother would to her kit. As she watched her father walk back to sit beside her mother. Her eyes widened when she saw StripedPelt stalk forward with all the menaceing power she had known her to have in life.
"with this life. I give you endless energy. Use it to carry out you're duties as leader" when StripedPelt touched her nose to NightWhisper. She felt as if she had all the energy and strength of LionClan and TigerClan put together. She watched as her friend moved away with sadness in her eyes. She pricked her ears as a cat she had known for a while walked forward. HawkTalon. She smiled as he paced forward and murmered. "I'm so proud of you"
Before begining he ritual for her fifth life.
"With this life. I give you compassion use it to tend to the sick cats of you're clan and all those weaker then you" When he touched his nose to hers she felt a burning hot sensation bolt through her. A feeling like she wanted to find and help all of injured cats of the world. "You'll always be my hero HawkTalon" She meowed to him. HE smiled at her and turned away. Her eyes brightened at who walked forward next. Her beloved IronStar. He smiled at her and muttered "Take care of our kits" She smiled. She knew he ment all of them. Including the ones that were WinterIce's.
"With this life I give you love. Use it to mother you're kits and love you're mate" This life she felt sooth her. She felt as if someone was petting her pelt with long warming strokes. She purred to him as he looked at her one last time with loveing eyes. Before moving away. She looked around and saw a cat she had just clawed! It was TigerStar. But there was no hostility in her amber eyes. Only a kind understanding.
"With this life. I give you protection. Use it to protect you're clan when all of StarClan seems crashing down" He touched his nose to hers. And NightWhisper felt a white hot need to protect her clanmates more then ever before. She watched as he stalked away and looked around. Seven lives and two more to go. She watched as a cat she had clawed the cheek of walk forward with a gentle smile. It was BlueStar. The ThunderClan leader. She walked forward with bright eyes.
"with this life i give you mentoring. Use it to train you're young warriors" When she touched her nose to NightWhisper's. NightWhisper felt as if she had the backing of all the young apperentices in every clan. NightWhisper watched as she walked away. She wondered who her last life would be given to her by. She watched as a tortushelled she-cat walked forward with a sad smile. NightWhisper's eyes widened. It was HeartNote! The old medicene cat stopped in front of her. NightWhisper's eyes welled with tears "Why?" She wondered aloud. She had seen HeartNote in the battle. And knew that the old medicene cat had gotten a few battle scars but other then that she shouldn't have died. "I was old. And sick. StarClan was calling me" HeartNote said simply. NightWhisper let her tears fall as she spoke the ritual "with this life I give you nobility and certainiy and faith. Use it to guide you're clan to the way to victory" As she touched noses with the olde medicene cat she felt as if all of Starclan had poured it's knowledge into her. Sh blanked her eyes open and watched as the old tortushelled medicene cat walked away. She looked at her pelt and saw that nine stars were on her haunches shoulders ears nose forehead and chest. Her markings had changed to. Now she was striped.
She looked up as TearStar spoke. "Because there is already a NightStar. You will be named StarWhisper. For we will speak the will of Starclan through you. The others will believe" She assured the new leader. StarWhisper looked around her as her warrior ancestors chanted her name. She felt herself being pulled back to moonstone. but not before she heard IronStar whisper "Raise them well StarWhisper" She smiled and opened her eyes and looked around her. She was back at Moonstone. the cave was dark again the moon had passed over. She got up and heard Proudfur stand up as well. She felt a pang of sympathy for the medicene cat. She had lost her beloved mentor and didn't even know it. The two walked out of the cave in comfortable silence. When they got out. Starwhisper told ProudFur that HeartNote was in StarClan. She was surprised when ProudFr only smiled sadly and meowed "Her time came. May she watch over us well" StarWhisper smiled and walked back to her clan with ProudFur by her side. Only she was returning as Leader instead of deputy. Suddenly felt the weight of what was expected of her. And the fact that she had six kits on the way. She deciced when she got back she would tell the clan they were IronStar's and that SharpLight would take care of the clan while she took care of them
